Has it really been a year since I have blogged? Well, records don’t lie, it has been over a year. Enjoy the review!
F.L.O.U.R.I.S.H. Women’s Bible Study
In September, I celebrated one year of faithful service to the women in my life that call me sister, mentor, minister and friend. Once a month, I host a women’s bible study called F.L.O.U.R.I.S.H. It has been a true blessing preparing God’s Word to share with others and also being prepared by His Word to live for Him and to teach for His glory.

What a wonderful time I had in the offices at 210 S. Main in Duncanville, however the office is moving to Cedar Hill in 2017. We have outgrown our spot and are actively searching for more adequate spacing to house all that God is doing. While there are several books in the works to be released in 2017, FIVE books were completed this year by some of my author coaching clients. Click on any of the links below to purchase today!

In January 2016, I heard the Holy Spirit say to me, “I am bringing you out of oppressive situations and circumstances”. What a word. In blind faith I said, “‘kay.”
Little did I know, I would experience several losses that brought me to an humbling experience of reflection and repentance, a deepening of love and commitment for Christ and my family and an abundance of growth naturally and spiritually. What I have discovered is that every scripture I have read in God’s Word is true. Here is one passage that is especially telling in how we as believers should respond to what some call, “A Fiery Trial” and I call, “The Humbling”.
“Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.” Job 1:19-22
“In all this” I have learned the hard way to speak and act in discretion and faith no matter what is being taken away from you because the Lord that takes, will ALWAYS give back greater.
“And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold. So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. He had also seven sons and three daughters. And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch. And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren. After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, even four generations. So Job died, being old and full of days.” Job 42:10-16
What a promise!
In a couple of days, 2016 will be gone and 2017 will be here. Let’s go into the New Year rejoicing in all that the Lord has done, is doing and will bring to pass.
In 2017, as we prepare our hearts for promotion and to receive the promises of the Lord, let’s apply all of the teachings we have received personally and pastorally. Let’s be faithful until the end! Let’s petition heaven with prayer and thanksgiving, preparing for all the blessings God has in store.
“Lord, bless us indeed! In Jesus’ name. Amen!”
“And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” I Chronicles 4:10
